Alcoholic women face higher risk of Suicide

According to a research, alcohol consumption can increase the risk of suicide in women. The risk is higher especially in the alcoholic women who suffer from Insomnia (disturbed sleep) and daytime tiredness.

According to the principal investigator, Mr. Michael Nadorff, the assistant professor at Mississippi state university, this issue can be sorted out by doing proper examination and treatment of the sleep problems and its associated symptoms.

Mr. Nadorff also added, “By better understanding this relationship, and the mechanism associated with increased risk we can better design interventions to reduce the risk of suicide.
