New study to find out whether Aspirin could help cure Dementia

Monash University in Melbourne started a 50 million Australian dollar trial known ASPirin in reducing Events in the Elderly. The study will investigate the potency of Aspirin as an anti-dementia.

Dementia is a state when people loss the mental functions like memory, thinking and or cognitive mind. It mostly happens in the elderly people.

It will be a joint study with the Berman Centre for outcomes and clinical research in Minneapolis in the U.S. involving more than 19,000 Australian patients in the study.
