Flu, malaria and Typhoid, three of them are caused by different reasons. While Flu is caused by the Influenza virus, Malaria and Typhoid are caused by a parasite and bacterial infection respectively. Though they have some similar symptoms if properly witnessed one can find the differences surely.

    Flu: Cause, Symptoms, Remedies

Cause:

As flu is a virus, it is highly contagious and one can be infected just by touching someone suffering from it. It is mostly spread by coughs or sneezes. And moreover the virus gets time to start working, so it may take 5-7 days for someone to be ill after getting infected.

Symptoms:

Flu can have several symptoms like high fever, blocked nose, sore throat, headache. But some of the rare symptoms to check if it is flu or not, are Cold sweats and shivers, aching joints and limbs, fatigue and being exhausted. There can be vomiting, diarrhea too.

Remedies:

In the flu, one should definitely have the antivirals and pain relief medication. Remember Antibiotics don’t work for the flu. Besides, you need a lot of rest and should avoid contact with other people as much as possible.

Cause:

Malaria is a life-threatening disease that is spread by the Anopheles mosquito. The parasites in the mosquito cause the disease. One can be infected if an infected mosquito bites him. The parasite multiplies itself and starts destroying the blood cells.

Symptoms:

Malaria has some similar symptoms to the flu. So sometimes they remain undiagnosed if not checked properly. They include high fever, cold, sweat, and shivering, unstable temperature, headache, vomiting. It can be uncomplicated malaria if the symptoms are like these. But when the symptoms include High fever with chills, impaired consciousness, multiple convulsions, respiratory distress, abnormal bleeding, and jaundice, it may become severe malaria that definitely needs clinical treatment.

Remedies:

Anyone having symptoms of malaria should definitely see a doctor first. A parasitological test is vital and the treatment should be done accordingly.

Cause:

Typhoid is a bacterial infected that comes mainly with high fever and vomiting. The infection is commonly caused by contaminated foods and drinking water. It can also be spread by a person who is affected by the infection already. If the symptoms are understood early, it can be treated within some time. But if it takes a lot of time to determine the disease first, then it can be fatal.

Symptoms:

Headache, fever, and vomiting are common symptoms. These can never help someone to diagnose if it is typhoid. But if someone witnesses abdominal pain, diarrhea, a lot a weakness, constipation, then it can be typhoid.

Remedies:

The most effective thing that can cure typhoid within minimal time is Antibiotics. Besides this, one must remember to keep himself hydrated always. You should drink lots of water.
