Basic steps of facial
Basically facial consist of minimum three steps
1. Cleansing
2. Toning

Step 1
Before cleansing your skin it is better to go for steam treatment. It will open the pores of your skin to get ready for cleaning. It can be simply done by soaking a towel in warn herbal tea. Wring out the towel and cover your face and neck with it until it slightly cools. This process is quite soothing thus can be repeated.
Step 2
Clean your face with a handmade gentle cleanser such as Rose cream cleanser. While cleaning your face move your fingers circular in the upward direction. It will stimulate the skin and lift the debris and excess oil. Rinse your face with Luke warm water and dry it with a soft towel, also remove the excess moisture.
Step 3
Now its time to tone the skin! It can be done with ingredients, balancing the pH of the skin. It is essential to maintain the pH level of the skin, as at the time of cleansing the pH level of the skin gets disturbed. Apply toner on you face with a soft cotton pad, but be careful do not rub your skin. While using toner avoid the eye areas. Now its time to moisturize the skin!
Step 4.
Moisturize your skin with Aromatic Facial oil. These oils contain soothing ingredients helpful in adding moisture and nutrients to your skin. Gently apply this oil on your face and neck. For those oily areas of your skin one time application of oil is sufficient. But to the dry areas it is necessary to apply the oil twice and before second application it is advised to moisten the skin with water or toner.
Facial procedure for different skin type
1. Oily skin
Cleansing: Make a paste of ½ tsp milk powder, 2 drops of lemon oil, 1 drop of Cedar wood oil. Apply this paste on your face and neck and massage it for 1 to 2 minutes. Wipe off the paste with soft tissue or cotton.
Toning: Prepare a paste of 2 drops of rosemary oil and 2 drops of basil, apply it on your face and let it dry. After drying wipe it off with wet towel.
Moisturizing: Take a non-perfumed moisturizing cream and add 2 drops of lavender oil to it. Apply this gently on your skin.
2. Dry skin:
Cleansing: Take 1 tsp of milk powder, a pinch of sugar, 2 drops of basil and 2 drops of lemon apply this paste on the face and neck with gentle massage. Leave it for sometime and then wipe it off.
Toning: Prepare a paste of almond powder, 1 drop of lemon and a drop of rose water and apply it on your skin, leave it to dry. Later wipe it with wet towel.
Moisturizing: To any non-perfumed moisturizing cream add 1 drop of rose water and 1 drop of sandal wood oil. Apply this on your face and neck.
3. Normal skin
Cleansing: Make a paste of 1 tsp milk, almond powder and sandal wood. Massage your face with this paste. Then with the help of tissue or cotton wipe it off.
Toning: Using almond powder, ½ tsp honey and 1 drop of rose water make a paste. Apply this on you face and let it dry. Later wipe it off with wet towel.
Moisturizing: Take any non-perfumed cream and add one drop of rose and lavender oil to it. Apply this gently on your face.
4. Combination skin
Cleansing: Apply a paste made of 1 tsp milk powder, 2 drops of rosemary and 1 drop of juniper berry on you face and neck. And massage it properly. Then, after sometime wipe it off.
Toning: For dry areas. Prepare a paste of almond powder, 1 drop of lemon, and 1 drop of rose. Now apply this paste on you skin and leave it for sometime. Later wipe it off.
For oily areas. Prepare a paste of Fullers Earth, 2 drops of rosemary and basil. Apply this on your skin leave it to dry. And then wash it off.
Moisturizing: To any moisturizing cream add 2 drops of lavender and gently apply this on you face.
5. Sensitive skin
Cleansing: Make a paste of ½ milk powder, 2 drops of lavender and luke warm water. Apply this paste on you face and slowly massage it. Then wash out your face.
Toning: Make a paste of fuller’s earth, 3 drops of chamomile and honey. Use this paste on your skin and leave it to dry. Then wipe it off.
Moisturizing: Take any good moisturizing cream and add 5 drops of rose and gently apply it on your skin.
