Prerequisite for growing these plants in a home:
- Prepare the growing area. You can either use pot with small holes at the bottom for better water drainage. Keep the pot in shallow drainage container. This will prevent the spilling of water on the floor. Or you can simply put some stones at the bottom before putting up some soil on to it.
- Soil. Though normal soil can be used to grow the plants at home. It is recommended to use a potting mix for better yield.
- Keep the plantation area sufficiently warm and exposed to sufficient sunlight.

This is one of the simple and easy to grow fruit plants. You can grow it in draining pots with holes. These are very healthy for hearts and great for vision. They also help to lower the risk of depression and also help improve digestion.

Apart from being beautiful and a great addition of beauty in the garden, these plants are great to cure any problems related to skin. The petals can be used to relieve sunburn and cleanse acne and blemishes on the skin.
